This character started out as an idea for a navigation tool for the student union web site, and quickly snowballed into a full-fledged mascot for the entire Santos Manuel Student Union.

It was used throughout various social networks, becoming the official name and brand of the SMSU Facebook, and found his way into every major student union based event.

After a while, the students in my department began to call Odie my son... and I never corrected them, cuz I love the little guy. He has been around for about 3 years now!
